In 2021, Schaffrath began to explore opening retail stores in Asia. These were to be their first retail stores so approached a2d to create a brand-new concept.
Endeavoring to disrupt the clinical nature of traditional jewellery stores, we centered our concept around a recent campaign on the German island of Sylt. Celebrating the rustic and natural side to jewellery production, our palette consisted of earthy tones, weathered wood and stone. Currently several stores have successfully opened in Asia, with more planned for the future.
