Oculus is a semi-permanent, modular, free-standing, outdoor pavilion, designed to house additional exhibits in the river-side courtyard of The Lightbox Art Gallery, Woking, UK. The portable, timber, multi-use structure simultaneously combines paintings & sculptures, an amphi-theatre with retractable seating, sun-shading and an upper viewing gallery.

Based on the anatomy of an eye, the sustainable concept explores how we look at objects by offering a range of different displays and viewpoints. At its heart lies the viewer, gathering new experiences and processing new information.
